2.) What are your characters most prominent physical features?
Thalia’s eyes are definitely her most prominent feature. If their electric blue hue doesn’t throw you off on first glance, the hardness to their expression probably will. Then there’s her clothing choice (or at least when she isn’t dresses to match the hunters). She looks… scary. But of course, if you’re looking for longer, you might notice her freckles, or the glint to her smile or the worry behind her eyes.
Later, when I’m back from wherever it is I’m going right now and you american people are back from sleep or whatevers (pfft) somebody should stumble across Munro asleep in the woods. Just a thought.
My brother’s sort-of-not-girlfriend likes Vampire Diaries. This girl is cool. I like her.
1.) Describe your character’s relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no?
At an extremely young age, Thalia worked out that her mum was a terrible parent. I mean, it must have been bad for a nine year old to run away from home. Her mum was selfish, a deadbeat. They had nothing in common. Thalia being a little punk rock kid and her mother, beautiful but vain and shallow. She learned that family wasn’t defined by blood but by real love and she found her own family in Luke and Annabeth and then later in the hunters.
She’s a little proud of being the daughter of Zeus. After all, the lightning’s pretty cool. She likes the idea of being his child but he isn’t a very practical father and she doesn’t expect any more than that from him. You wouldn’t say she loves him, but she definitely respects him.
